INTRODUCTION

In this project, data collection and gathering from internal and external sources shall be compiled to develop the HIRARC Database. External study and database/datasheet shall also be sourced from different existing datasheets, research studies, etc. The data shall be further mapped with the parameters related to manufacturing processes as well as the production machineries. Once completed, the database shall be transferred in a database form to be utilised for the development of the web-based application development and descriptive/predictive analytic dashboard. In terms of the descriptive/predictive analytics dashboard, a data analytics processes shall be conducted based on processes such as data mining, data cleaning, data modelling and data visualisation to either predict the probability of hazard to happen OR the severity of the hazards. In addition to providing a dynamic web-based interface to conduct HIRARC, manufacturers shall also be able to use the data as guidance when they conduct risk assessment in HIRARC – identification of likelihood and severity in a more accurate and industry-based manner

The Benefit

* Digitalisation of hazard, risk assessment and risk controldata.
* Localised hazard-related data that are based on historical data from JKKP8 for Malaysia’s manufacturing companies.
* Enable complete, relevant and accurate HIRARC development which can decrease workplace incidents.
* Increase efficiency in HIRARC management
* Ensure risk assessment conducted accurately based on historical data of hazard for Malaysia’s manufacturing companies.
* Decrease rate of workplace incidents and fatality in Malaysia’s manufacturing companies.
* Increase productivity and competitiveness.
* Comprehensive hazard-related data collection system to monitor progress and performance of OSH implementation in Malaysia’s manufacturing companies.
